Hannah, Robert and Julia were amazing!…Julia is ready to fight people for you! I’m serious . Hannah is always very fair and grounded, and I like that because she ensures you’re put first in so many ways. Robert has really become one of my favorite people in the 3L community.
The management always treated me with respect and kindness. I never had any major maintenance issues but everyone on staff is responsive and helpful. The location and amenities make this building a great place to live. I would definitely continue living here if I wasn’t leaving town.

Will I get approved for the unit I'm interested in?
3L Living’s standard application requirements include:
- Proof of ID (Driver’s license, passport, etc.)
- Background check
- Credit Check (will consider credit score, collections & eviction history dating back 7 years+)
- Income Requirements – Must take home 3x rent amount
If rent costs $1249/mth (1249 x 3 = 3750) Then you need to take home $3,750 (before tax) to qualify for this apartment.
You will need to submit 2 of your most recent paystubs in PDF format in the application. If you can not meet these income requirements a co-signer will be needed.
How do I apply for an apartment with 3L Living?
Once you have already attended a showing and are interested in applying your leasing consultant can send you an application directly and assist you through the process.
There is a non-refundable application fee of $50 and an adminstration fee of $250.
If your application is denied you will be refunded ONLY the adminstration fee. If your application is approved that fee is NOT refunded and acts as a “Move-In Fee”.
You will also need to meet the application requirements listed in the “Will I get approved for the unit I am interested in?” question above.
How much will move-in cost? What fees will I pay?
Your resident account will have to reflect that the Adminstration Fee of $250 & 1st month’s rent have been paid before you are given keys/access to the building and your new unit on your scheduled move in date.
If you have a pet there is a $350 one-time fee also due before move-in.

What utilities will I have to pay for?
Water, sewage, trash removal, and amenity internet are all included in your monthly rent.
You will be responsible for setting up and the cost of electricity through WeEnergies. Cost varies on useage.
You will need to bring your own router for internet access (upgrades available).
Is the building safe? Is there staff/security?
3L Living properties utilize controlled FOB access at the main entry, apartment entry, and most of the amenity spaces. A camera system is in place in the lobby and in key access points throughout the building.
Our properties do not have a security guard or doorman onsite 24/7 and we encourage our residents to use safety precautions at the buildings.
What can I expect from management?
3L Living works in a POD system, with a staff that is responsible for multiple properties, because of the POD system property management, leasing, and maintenance may not be on-site at all times. If they are currently at another building in their POD they can be reached by phone or email during normal business hours.
3L Living strives to respond to every maintenance request the same day though we ask to allow us up to 48 hours, as we prioritize work orders on level of emergency.
