LIVE IN A LEGEND
This iconic structure was built by the Johnson Publishing Corporation in 1971 which called the building its world headquarters until 2010. The interior has been completely renovated, however, certain finishes and features were designed as a “fresh” echo of the 70’s, paying homage to the original aesthetic of the building. Johnson Publishing its self is gone but not forgotten with framed Ebony magazine covers, the famous test kitchen, and other artifacts displayed throughout the building—all part of the great story that the building tells.
I love this building. I especially love living in a building with such historical significance. Living here makes me very proud because as a young person I always marveled at the building and what John H. Johnson was able to accomplish and contribute to the world.
My roommate and I just visited the apartment, we haven’t even moved in yet, but it’s truly everything we’ve been searching for. It fits our price range and everything is remodeled and new. It is at a great location near campus and it suits our needs as a comfortable, safe, clean, and simple place to live…
Awesome apartments, with great amenities and friendly staff! The views from the rooftop are amazing!
